Territory Sales Manager (USA)
OVERVIEW
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for selling the TheraSmile® system. This position plays an integral role in the revenue creation for Mavrik Dental Systems. The TM is responsible for building a territory and developing the market. This individual will need to quickly cultivate deep relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, identify winning strategies, execute tactical plans, and most importantly, sell TheraSmile as a clinical solution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fully learn and understand the features and functionality of the TheraSmile system
- Professionally and effectively represent the Mavrik value proposition during customer interactions for the purpose of selling TheraSmile as a clinical solution
- Become a product expert and successfully communicate their value to the dental practice
- Successfully explain the benefits of the TheraSmile system over competitive products and systems
- Achieve quotas on a quarterly and annual basis
- Identify which opportunities are most likely to close and determine the next steps to complete the sale
- Formally submit complaint reports for any product or system malfunctions or defects
- Attend trade shows to promote product and demonstrate its use to interested or potential customers
- Maintain medical device directive compliance in all customer interactions and communications
- Comply with company procedures, policies and HIPPA regulations
- Enter CRM activity on a daily basis
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or life sciences
- 3+ years successful outside sales experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to effectively manage time
- As a condition of employment with Mavrik Dental Systems, employees are required to provide proof of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or qualify for an exception. Accordingly, employment is conditioned on providing proof of vaccination or having an approved exemption prior to starting employment
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience selling to a clinical audience preferred
- Capital sales experience a plus
- Proven success in sales (i.e. awards, President’s Club, etc.)
- Comfortable presenting to large groups (10+ people)
- Direct selling experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Proven skills at identifying problems and develop good solutions
- Able to professionally work with different personalities in a public setting
- Able to share constructive feedback and present ideas or disagreements in a professional manner that is consistent and familiar to the dental practitioner customer
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Able to lift 50 lbs (occasionally)
WORK SCHEDULE
- Able to work inside the office and in the field as needed
- Able to travel as required
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
