Product Manager

Overview

The Product Manager is responsible for developing and executing key marketing activities in support of Mavrik’s current product line and any future product introductions. This position will be a pivotal role in building the Mavrik brand, including world-class execution of new product launches as well as sustaining aggressive growth of existing brands per the annual revenue plan. The Product Manager is the “steward” of the brand, ensuring that all elements internally and externally as well as cross-functionally, are properly positioned, and well-coordinated.

Key Responsibilities
  • The Product Manager is responsible for developing and executing key marketing activities in support of Mavrik’s current product line and any future product introductions.   • Monitor, review and report on marketing initiatives and product portfolio results on a routine and periodic basis.
  • Attend key industry trade shows and sponsored events as warranted.
  • In conjunction with other members of commercial and operational team, generate forecasts for Mavrik products with emphasis on new product build forecasts. Interface with Operations to ensure adequate inventory is available to support product launches.
  • In conjunction with VP and CFO, perform financial analysis and make recommendations on price increases, periodic product promotions, bundling opportunities, and tiered pricing scenarios.
  • Manage ongoing and periodic product lifecycle management for the portfolio.
Requirements
  • Relevant dental product and industry knowledge preferred. At minimum, some related medical device or healthcare experience is required.
  • Undergraduate degree is required. Marketing or Science background is desirable.
  • Experience in developing marketing strategies and executing integrated marketing tactical plans is required. Candidates should have a minimum 3-5 years of marketing experience in a medical device or healthcare related setting.
  • Proven experience in developing, managing, and maintaining relationships with key customers as well as clinical champions.
  • Working knowledge of relevant software applications to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • High level product/project management skills and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously with measured progress on multiple fronts.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Ability to analyze complex problems or situations, develop comprehensive alternatives to address the problem, and formulate a concrete recommendation with supporting rationale.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Formal presentation skills including the ability to present in front of senior management, vendors (e.g., advertising agency), clinicians, and managerial peers.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to be recognized externally as a key point person for the product portfolio.
  • Ability to adapt strategies and focus as market conditions and company directives require.
  • Ability to engage in some travel – estimated at 10-15%.

Bio-Medical Engineer

Overview

As a Bio-Medical Engineer your principal task will be to assist and support the CMO (Chief Medical Officer) in researching innovative solutions in the field of dentistry.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support Specialist

Overview

The Clinical Support Specialist (CSS) is responsible for training new users on the use of the Multi-Disciplinary Thera-Oral Technology System by Mavrik®. This position plays a crucial role in the initial start-up and immersion of each new customers into the Thera-Oral System. The CSS is considered a super-user with an in-depth understanding of how to use the Mavrik Thera-Oral system and its applications and possesses excellent communication and teaching skills. Ideally, the CSS would possess a broad understanding of how dental practices operate from front office to the patient experience, and therefore can effectively communicate and properly educate the dental office staff on how to integrate the Thera-Oral system into the daily practice routine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fully learn and understand the Thera-Oral system features and functionality such that features and functionality can be taught using applicable dental terminology, and can be easily understood, and competently demonstrated.
  • Professionally and effectively represent the Mavrik value proposition during customer interactions for the purpose of supporting the Mavrik customer sales funnel process.
  • Contribute to the ongoing effort to improve training materials and programs designed to enhance the learning experience of new customers.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvements of the Thera-Oral system User Manual and associated Instructions for Use (IFU).
  • Adhere to approved training materials and documents when training or instructing customers.
  • Maintain medical device directive compliance in all customer interactions and communications.
  • Successfully explain the benefits of the Thera-Oral system over competitive product or systems.
  • Guide customers through the Mavrik formal certification program with all applicable documentation.
  • Post install, continue to be a resource for customers that have procedure related questions and collaborate with sales personnel as needed.
  • Collect customer feedback as necessary to assist with the improvement of products and processes.
  • Formally submit complaint reports for any product or system malfunctions or defects.
  • If necessary, attend trade shows to promote product and demonstrate its use to interested or potential customers.
  • Comply with company procedures, policies and HIPPA regulations.
Requirements

SW Engineer

Overview

As a SW Engineer, your principal task is to be the software related knowledge source, including design and implement new features in UI and control, improve current versions, develop tools, methods and approaches, and work with R&D members, as well as subcontractors and consultants to achieve high-performing software-based medical multi-disciplinary system.

VV Engineer

Overview

As the V&V Engineer, your principal task is to verify and validate a medical multi-disciplinary system, in collaboration with the R&D team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for the design and execution of the system’s (software and hardware) Verification and Validation test procedures.
  • Use virtualized test environment and internal/external manual/automatic testing tools to ensure that requirements are implemented correctly.
  • Be responsible for traceability matrix of requirements to tests.
  • Be involved in test lab management and improvement of test process in respect to medical regulation (FDA/CE/other).
  • Travel (domestic) to device manufacturers or customer sites to run tests in real environment.
  • Act as key contributor in trainings of new Interns and support them in the transfer of knowledge during the learning process.

Electronics Engineer

Overview

As an Electronics Engineer, you will use the application of design engineering principles, technical skills, teamwork, and creative problem solving to design and deliver high quality innovative medical devices. Your role will be to research, design, develop and test electronic components, circuits, modules, and medical device systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop boards and control of multi-disciplinary medical devices, including digital and analog circuits, DACs & ADCs, SBC, and wireless communication.
  • Design instruments and platforms according to specification and regulation requirements, from idea to working tested prototype.
  • Interface with outside vendors for component selection, manufacturing, and assembly.
  • Write technical documentation.
